The road racing season came to an exhilarating close for Mentorise Elite Team at the Seciu Mon Amour, an event that holds a special place in the hearts of domestic racers. The 23-kilometer loop, covered five times, offers a varied terrain with crosswinds, flat stretches, climbs, rolling hills, and descents – a truly unpredictable challenge. As the last race of the year and one of their hometown events, it brought a sense of pressure. But, as the team has proven time and again, they thrive on such expectations.

From the get-go, Gerhard Moldansky and Mattew Piciu launched into a selective three-man breakaway. After one lap, it expanded to four riders when Iustin Vaidian joined in. A few laps later, the break swelled to a seven-man group, with Dobrin Ioan adding strength to the team's presence. This format remained consistent until the final lap.

In the last lap, Gery made a remarkable move. After the climb, he attacked on the rolling terrain and managed to break away with Catalin Buta. They held their lead on the flat section, and when they hit the last 3-kilometer climb, Gery made his decisive move, crossing the finish line first on the familiar roads of their home race.

Behind them, Denis secured a fantastic third place with a powerful sprint. Iustin took the fifth spot, and Ionut clinched the seventh position. The team displayed incredible teamwork, determination, and strength, closing out the season on a high note.
