The Swedish team with Ida Andersson and Greta Andersson, both from Falu CK, Rembos Oskar Eklöf, and Vilmer Ekman, Bauhaus SK, who in late summer was eight in the JEM points race in Portugal, all gathered valuable experience in a strong international starting field.
With several top performances and single-digit results, the weekend also became a message that development continues in the right direction. Greta Andersson shined the most. She won in all five disciplines!
"Overall, it was a very successful and educational weekend for our juniors who are bringing a lot of experience home in their backpack," says Johan Carelle, the federation captain in bicycle.
Already on December 6, there is a chance to compete at home. Then there is a national competition in omnium that applies to all classes, from 13-14 and up. Take the opportunity now that the winter weather is here!
