Born in 1987 in the Mengen district of Bolu, Zeynel Akgönül has built a career as an executive chef at a four-star hotel while balancing a deep passion for cycling. With meticulousness, discipline, and creativity defining his professional life, Zeynel channels those same values into his training and racing. After meeting his wife, his enthusiasm for cycling grew even stronger, leading him to pursue performance riding more seriously. Today, he competes actively in the Master category, participating in road and MTB races while pursuing ambitious goals on and off the bike.

Zeynel’s mission is to merge gastronomy with sport—developing a business that offers both repair and maintenance services for cyclists alongside a vibrant social space for food and community. His vision is to pioneer an approach that combines healthy living, sustainable nutrition, and sports culture, creating value for athletes, brands, and society at large. As he puts it: “Inspiration in every plate, power in every pedal.”

Some of his notable achievements include a 3rd place finish at the 2020 National MTB Championships (Master 30–35) and 2nd place at the 2022 Bodrum MTB Cup (Master 30–35). His philosophy of discipline, creativity, and endurance extends from the kitchen to the bike, making him a true ambassador of both gastronomy and sport.

Zeynel has been proudly partnered with CCN Sport since 2019, relying on CCN kits for comfort, aerodynamics, and safety. He credits the high-quality fabrics and fit with helping him perform better and ride more confidently, both in training and in races.
