The 2025 edition of the 7-Eleven Trail Series once again delivered an adrenaline-pumping experience, bringing together elite cyclists and emerging talents for a demanding 40 km cross-country mountain bike challenge at Timberland Heights, San Mateo, Rizal. Marking its ninth year, the event continues to set the bar high for endurance and technical prowess in the MTB community.

With an even more competitive field than before, hundreds of riders took on the legendary trails of Timberland Heights, navigating treacherous terrain, punishing climbs, and thrilling descents. The challenging course pushed competitors to their limits, making for an epic battle of skill, strategy, and perseverance.

Go for Gold Cycling Team: A Dominant Force

Representing CCN Sport, the Go for Gold Cycling Team showcased an extraordinary performance, securing multiple podium finishes across various categories:

  • Overall Champion - Dave Montemayor

  • 3rd Place Overall - James Carl Dela Cruz

  • 1st Place (16-19 Age Group) - John Andre Aguja

  • 2nd Place (16-19 Age Group) - Gart Garlean

  • 1st Place (19-24 Age Group) - Dhave Roa

  • 1st Place (30-34 Age Group) - Jigo Mendoza

These outstanding athletes displayed exceptional grit and world-class racing abilities, solidifying their reputation on one of the country’s most demanding MTB circuits. Their victories further reinforce Go for Gold’s status as a powerhouse in the local cycling scene.
