Nusantara - BYC Cycling Team Wraps Up the Tour of Mentougou 2025!

Stage 3 of the Tour of Mentougou 2025 delivered another thrilling day of racing through the mountainous landscapes of western Beijing — and it was a standout performance for Maulana Astnan, who showed true fighting spirit from start to finish.

From the opening climb, Astnan joined a strong 11-man breakaway that quickly went clear of the peloton. His determination and climbing power shone brightly as he dominated the KOM competition, taking first place on both categorized climbs — Category 3 and Category 2 — during the first 57 km lap. 👏👏

The breakaway riders worked well together, building a lead of nearly two minutes at one stage. But as the race entered the decisive final climb, the peloton ramped up the pace and eventually reeled the group back in before the finish line.

The stage was ultimately won by Clément Alleno of Burgos Burpellet BH, whose team completed an impressive clean sweep of the podium, securing all top three positions in both the stage and the General Classification.

Despite the challenging finale, Astnan’s aggressive ride and time spent in the breakaway marked a strong conclusion to the team’s campaign in Mentougou — showcasing grit, teamwork, and consistency across all three stages.

With this chapter closed, the team now looks ahead to its next challenge — the Tour of Guizhou, where they’ll continue their momentum and fight for even stronger results. 💪🙌
