New season, new hopes, and new challenges for Torres-Sobato. After three intense days of competition, the Oscense team has delivered a very positive performance in the Vuelta al Guadalentín—highlighted by a well-earned podium finish and a near-upset in one of the race's most demanding events. Seven cyclists from the team embarked on the tenth campaign of the Fernando Barceló Team before heading to Kione Resorts for a few days of focused training starting Friday.

The inaugural stage of the Vuelta al Guadalentín connected the cities of Cartagena and Mazarrón, presenting a multitude of challenges that left little room for error. In the second segment, Joel Morales shone as he captured the intermediate sprints jersey and climbed onto the podium, even though he later lost his lead on the climb to Castillo de Lorca. Equally impressive was Mario Fernández, whose persistent breakaway pushed him through to the final climb, securing an outstanding 13th place.
