Jonas Orset, The Nordic Trailblazer, took on new challenges in the US. 

The Norwegian rider is back in the home of gravel, taking on household names in the sport. This weekend he finished the Belgian Waffle Ride in San Diego.  

Jonas says:

– It was a long travel to get here, and my legs were heavy from the start. However, I managed to enjoy the race against some of the best riders in one of the monuments of gravel - The Belgian Waffle Ride. 

I suffered, yet enjoyed being part of this. A real adventure.

Belgian Waffle Ride California 
The original BWR was the California edition which was held this weekend in San Diego. As the only Nordic rider, our Jonas Orset raced the very best finishing 33rd over the 205 km challenging course.

His next race is this Friday with the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey not far from San Francisco.
