Nusantara Cycling Team Returns for Le Tour de Langkawi 2026

Nusantara Cycling Team returns to Le Tour de Langkawi for the fourth consecutive year, taking on one of Asia’s biggest stage races in its special 30th anniversary edition.

Since making its first appearance in 2023, Nusantara Cycling Team has continued to return to Malaysia for the UCI ProSeries event, where Continental teams have the opportunity to race alongside WorldTour and ProTeam opposition.

Fourth Year at Le Tour de Langkawi

The 2026 edition brings together 2 WorldTour teams, 8 ProTeams, 9 Continental teams and 1 national team, with 119 riders in the field.

For Nusantara Cycling Team, returning for a fourth year provides another opportunity to compete in a high-level international peloton and represent Southeast Asian cycling on one of the region’s biggest stages.

A Tough 30th Anniversary Edition

This year's route presents a major climbing challenge, with three significant mountain finishes across the eight stages.

Mount Jerai features on Stage 2, followed by Cameron Highlands via Tapah on Stage 4 and Genting Highlands on Stage 5.

With six of the eight stages featuring hilly terrain, the 2026 race will demand consistency across both the climbs and faster stages.

Familiar Riders, New Challenges

Nusantara Cycling Team enters the race with the same six-rider squad as last year, although the team will be without Andy Royan and Bernard Van Aert, who are unavailable due to a schedule clash with track competition.

Their absence reduces the team's sprint options for the flatter stages, but the hillier profile of this year's race creates different opportunities throughout the week.

Ready for Eight Stages

From Mount Jerai to Cameron Highlands and Genting Highlands, the 30th Le Tour de Langkawi will provide a demanding test for Nusantara Cycling Team.
