News update: New Sweden Cycling’s elite riders

Represented by Sweden Cycling’s elite program, the 2026 BMX Racing National Team is now complete. The riders have built a strong foundation for both the 2026 National Team and the Development Group. Below is the latest news on three cyclists:

 - Jesper Wahlberg, Märsta BMX – enters the season as a second‑year junior after a breakthrough 2025, highlighted by a silver medal at the European Championships.

 - Axel Borgström, Malmö BMX – steps up to the national team and the junior class after a year in the development program.

 - My Sylwan, Älvsjö BMX – joins as a development cyclist and will participate in competitions and camps as preparation for the junior years ahead.

The 2025 season was exceptionally strong, with several international podium finishes — capped by Jesper Wahlberg’s European Championship silver in the junior category.
