Mentorise MLM SuperStars Shine at Tour of Romania 🇷🇴 UCI 2.2 – Recap

What an incredible 5 days of racing on home soil! The Tour of Romania 2024 has come to a close, and we're thrilled to report that our efforts were far from in vain. The parcours took our riders from Deva through Alba Iulia, Sibiu, Brasov, Targoviste, and finally Bucharest, covering almost 900 km with an elevation gain of about 8,000 meters.

Throughout the race, our boys proudly showcased the orange and purple jerseys, placing the Mentorise Cycling Team name among the elite squads in the competition.

Stage Highlights:

• 7th place for @mattewpiciu in Stage 4
• 14th place for @mattewpiciu in Stage 2
• 18th place for @gerhard.moldansky in Stage 4
• 19th place for @iustinvaidian in Stages 2 and 4
• 13th place for @mattewpiciu in Stage 5

General Classification (GC) Results:

• 26th place and 3rd best Romanian rider for @iustinvaidian (tied in time with 2nd)
• 27th place for @mattewpiciu
• 28th place for @gerhard.moldansky
• 30th place for @dobrinioan

These results are especially impressive considering the strong and stacked field of nearly 150 riders!

This event was not just a test of individual skill but a true display of team strength. Our riders pushed through every challenge, and the results speak for themselves. Kudos to all the boys for their hard work and determination!
