Swedish Talent Shines at Pump Track World Cup in Durban – Love Sylwan Leads with a Strong Finish

At the recent Pump Track World Cup in Durban, South Africa, Sweden showcased impressive talent, with five riders putting in remarkable performances. Love Sylwan stood out the most, making it all the way to the quarterfinals and finishing in a hard-earned seventh place. This was no small feat in such a competitive field, as Love pushed through each round with speed and skill, staying within the top four until only the last two minutes when he slipped to seventh.

The Swedish team also saw strong showings on the women’s side, with Felicia Klingström securing 11th place and young Astrid Stoltz placing 18th, highlighting Sweden’s growing depth in the sport. Meanwhile, Federation Captain Filip Svanberg and Albin Johansson each took on the challenging course, finishing in the 20s range but pushing the team’s visibility forward on the global stage.

"We made a good showing at the World Cup, but we’re aiming for more," says Filip Svanberg. "We'll evaluate this season and start planning for the next, with our sights set on reaching the podium."

The dedication and determination of these athletes reflect Sweden's rising status in pump track racing. As CCN Sport, we’re excited to see their journey and to continue supporting the ambitions of riders pushing boundaries and reaching for medals. Here's to the upcoming season and more inspiring performances from Team Sweden!
