Tour de Entete 2025: Double Podium for 7Eleven Cliqq RoadBike Philippines

The riders of 7Eleven Cliqq RoadBike Philippines (Excellent Noodles) delivered one of their best performances yet at the Tour de Entete 2025, securing a 1-2 finish in Stage 8 of the race in Indonesia.

Pagtalunan Takes the Win

John Patrick Pagtalunan, the pride of San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, soloed to a remarkable victory in the 125 km stage, crossing the finish line in 3:28:58. His teammate, Joseph Javiniar, followed just three seconds later to complete the stunning back-to-back podium sweep for the team.

Pagtalunan’s performance also earned him the Best Young Rider award of the stage, adding another accolade to his growing list of achievements.

Javiniar Shines in the Mountains

It was a big day for Joseph Javiniar as well. Alongside his second-place finish in Stage 8, he also secured two Category 1 King of the Mountain victories, catapulting him into the overall lead in the KOM classification.

This builds on his consistent form throughout the Tour, including a 4th place in Stage 5 and his efforts in the Stage 7 charity race, where he also finished strongly.

Pascual’s Consistency Pays Off

Meanwhile, Joshua Pascual continued to hold his ground in the overall standings. With a 6th-place finish in Stage 8, he remains 5th overall in the Individual General Classification heading into the race’s final two days. His steady form has been a cornerstone of the team’s campaign.

Team Standings

In the Team Classification, Go For Gold stays in third place behind Garuda Development (Indonesia) and Kronospeed Paris (France).
7Eleven currently sits in 7th place, but with momentum from this impressive double podium, the squad looks to climb higher before the race concludes.

Onward and Upward

Coming off a 2nd place in the Stage 7 charity race and now a Stage 8 victory, the Filipino squad is riding a wave of confidence and unity. Their resilience and strong teamwork continue to shine through in both challenging stages and decisive climbs.

With just two stages left, all eyes are on the team to see if they can finish the Tour de Entete on a high note.

Onward and upward—let’s go, Team 7Eleven Cliqq RoadBike Philippines! 🚴🔥
