Jenny Rissveds Dominates in the USA: Eight Wins in Her Last Ten Races

Sweden’s Jenny Rissveds continues to redefine dominance in women’s mountain biking. The Olympic gold medalist and Canyon CLLCTV XCO rider crushed the competition once again — this time at the Lake Placid World Cup XCO in the United States — taking her eighth win in her last ten races and setting a record-breaking margin of victory.

Rissveds took control of the race early, opening up a two-minute lead that she managed with masterful composure and precision all the way to the finish. Her final winning margin — 2 minutes and 16 seconds over Britain’s Evie Richards — is the largest in a Women’s XCO World Cup race in more than a decade.

Meanwhile, in the U23 Men’s category, Leo Lounela delivered a strong performance to secure 7th place, further highlighting the depth of talent from the Scandinavian contingent this season.

🔥 Unstoppable Form

Jenny’s recent form has been nothing short of extraordinary. Her results over the past few months speak for themselves:

1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1.

This incredible streak spans from the European Championships in Portugal, through the World Cups in Les Gets (France), Switzerland, and now Lake Placid, cementing her place among the most consistent and dominant riders in modern mountain biking history.

🎙 Jenny Rissveds on Her Victory

Speaking to Eurosport after her win, Rissveds reflected on her mindset and long-term focus:

“I have realized that the important thing is to enjoy the journey — and to develop myself in a sustainable way.”

Her measured approach was evident in Lake Placid, where she even opted for a safer line through the rocky slalom section to avoid a puncture — a tactical decision that showcased her maturity and control under pressure.

Maxwell, who praised Rissveds after the race, acknowledged her rival’s exceptional form:

“If I lose the World Cup title to Jenny after a race like this — when the rest of us are nearly three minutes behind — it’s honestly an honor.”

As the season moves toward its conclusion, all eyes are on Rissveds, whose combination of strength, strategy, and serenity has made her one of the most dominant figures the MTB world has seen in years.

Jenny Rissveds: A model of consistency, power, and perspective — proving that sustainable success is as much about mindset as it is about raw talent. 🌟
