Tour de East Java 2008

This year, TDEJ 2008 is in the 4th year and it shows significant developments. It can be proved from the belief and enthusiasm of International teams from 6 international teams in 2006 became 14 international teams in 2007.

Besides, TDEJ has had a good appreciation from the Indonesian Government as annual International sport event in Sport and Youth Ministry Calendar 2008.

This event could attract many tourists where the start and finish area are professionally prepared and make this event as an annual festival which is traditionally, professionally and well arranged.

The hospitality, valuable unique culture, beautiful sceneries, the quality of small industries are power of attractions which could attract millions international tourists if they are professionally organized. In some years, Indonesian riders will be able to compete with other professional riders from other countries and make Indonesia¡¯s name become famous in cycling competition.

TDEJ has been listed in UCI (Uni Cycleste Internationale) calendar since 2005 and this annual event will be held on 2nd-6th April 2008. The organizer will invite both national and international journalists and photographers to follow the convoy and record the various lively activities in East Java. By recording this event, it could create opinion among people around the world about the dynamic and creative people in East Java.
